PLEASE NOTE:

Many other homes in Half Moon Bay advertise a loft or spare room as a bedroom. They often lack privacy (no doors) making it difficult for multiple families on a vacation. However, our house has 5 full bedrooms without any of the issues mentioned above.

Our property is located between San Francisco and Santa Cruz in the quaint town of Moss Beach in Half Moon Bay.

• 10-minute walk to Cypress Tree Tunnel, Moss Beach Distillery & Fitzgerald Marine Reserve

• 2-minute drive to Princeton-by-the-Sea harbor where you get fresh-caught fish. You can also rent a kayak or a boat here.

• 2-minute drive to Half Moon Bay Jetty where you can surf, enjoy oceanfront dining at Sam's Chowder House, and walk the coastal trail.

• 3-minute drive to Pillar Point Harbor and Ross Cove. Experience marine mammals like seals in the wild. (The smell of the ocean, seaweed & kelp may be unbearable for some)

This property is situated on the desirable west side of the Pacific Coast Highway. So, you can walk to the ocean & all your favorite spots!

• Additional Sleeping: 2 queen-sized air mattresses can be provided upon request for larger groups. However, we request you bring your own bedding (BYOB - Bring Your Own Bedding).

We’re happy to welcome larger groups from time to time — groups over 16 people need pre-approval from our homeowners, HOA, and management. We have hosted groups as large as 20 people (including kids) in the past. If you have more than 16 guests, just send us a quick message before booking. Booking larger groups without approval may lead to cancellation without refund.

For larger groups, there’s a $25/night fee per additional person (plus taxes & Airbnb fees). We've kept this fee as affordable as possible. It only helps cover the extra supplies, utilities, insurance, and natural wear that come with hosting bigger groups. Since this is a large and beautiful home, upkeep is significantly high.

The extra guest fee is our way of making it easier for big families and groups to gather, while also helping us recover basic costs and keep the stay budget-friendly for everyone. So, we kindly ask you to be honest about your group size — misrepresenting it could lead to penalties or cancellation without refund, and we truly want your stay to be nothing but wonderful!

If you have additional cars or pets, please ask the host before booking. There are special instructions and additional fees for bringing additional cars or pets.

Two outdoor cameras protect our property. One camera is installed above the main entrance and protects the main entrance and our driveway. The other camera is installed above our side entrance and protects our sideyard and side entrance

This house is close to the ocean. The humidity in the ocean air causes mold to grow quickly. Please try to keep the floors, walls, cabinets & countertops dry. The excess moisture also causes weeds to grow quickly which attracts certain insects.

We do routine pest control, landscaping, and cleanings. However, bugs, critters, and cobwebs are inevitable.

Bike Rentals:

Our property manager can provide 2 bikes at $55 per day each. Bikes must be booked for the entire length of your stay, and we need to know at least 5 days in advance. You'll also need to sign liability waivers. If you're interested, please let us know ASAP so we can prepare the bikes for your stay.

If you need more than 2 bikes, we recommend the "Half Moon Bay Kayak Company," just 5 minutes away! They also rent kayaks, surfboards, and paddleboards! 🚴‍♂️🏄‍♀️

This is a huge house. So, we also rent this house as 2 separate units to smaller families through 2 different listings. The layout of this house is such that it can be rented as 2 separate units with 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 dining areas & 2 laundry rooms.

However, if you book this property through this current listing, you will have full access to the entire property (the full house, the backyard, the front yard & our massive driveway). Note: The garage is used by cleaners to store supplies so you will not have access to the garage.

Leak Detection:

This property is equipped with a leak detection system. Please do not remove the leak sensors from the bathrooms & kitchens. These sensors do not record anything except detect a water leak.
