Knotty Pine Chalet

The “most fun” chalet in Arnold!

Inspired by chalets in the Swiss Alps, our cabin is made of “Knotty Pinewood” with cozy reddish undertones & natural decorative rings (knots). It has 24 ft ceilings, fireplace, comfy furniture & surrounded by SugarPine trees with lots of wildlife around.

Our Game Room has a full-sized pool table, foosball, dart, kids games, board games & gorgeous collection of “Spuds Mackenzie”, BudLight’s mascot! Great for families & large groups spending time together!

The space

Our gorgeous chalet is in a fabulous Resort Community with many lakes, golf courses, tennis courts, etc. Enter our property through a flat private driveway with room for 4 cars. It’s easily accessed in snow since the driveway is flat, compared to most homes with steep driveways in Arnold.

As you enter the main door, you’ll experience the charm of our home.

⦿ The left stairway leads to the Game Room upstairs. There’s also a bedroom & a full bathroom.
⦿ The kitchen, an island with bar stools & the dining areas are next to the living room.
⦿ The hallway to the left leads you to 2 additional bedrooms & a bathroom.

♥︎ GAME ROOM

The Game Room upstairs has a full-sized ‘heirloom’ Pool Table that brings the entire family together. It also has foosball, indoor basketball, dart, kid’s games, a play mat, hot wheels, card & board games like exploding kittens, scrabble, chess, toss-a-ring, etc. Retro “Budweiser” and “Spuds MacKenzie” art adorns the game room. The Spuds is BudLight’s mascot from the late 80’s! We have unique collectibles that make great IG photos! 

♥︎ LIVING ROOM

The formal living room is furnished with premium furniture, a wood stove fireplace & a 65” smart TV. It creates an intimate family setting. The large Chalet windows on 24 ft ceilings bring lots of natural light & offers gorgeous views of Arnold’s massive Sugar Pine trees. This makes the perfect setting for a snowy day or a cozy summer evening.

♥︎ KITCHEN & DINING

Our dining area sits between the living room & the kitchen. The rustic chandelier, unique art pieces & the large dining table (seats 6 to 8) makes the dining room a perfect setting for intimate family dinners. The kitchen island is next to the dining area & can seat additional guests on solid pinewood bar stools.

The kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials including kitchen utensils, pots & pans, plates, glasses & more. It also has lots of cabinet spaces & all the appliances you’ll need.

The dining & living areas offer access to our large wrap-around Front Deck (with furniture) with views of towering pine & cedar trees.

♥︎ SLEEP & SHOWER ARRANGEMENTS

⦿ Bedroom 1: has a king-sized bed and a queen-sized bed with side tables & lamp shades.
⦿ Bedroom 2: has a queen-sized bed.
⦿ Bedroom 3: This bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a twin bunk-bed. The bunk bed is for kids only.

Bedrooms 1 & 2 are on the main level. No stairs needed to access them. There’s also a full bathroom with a tub, shower, sink & toilet on the main level. The 3rd bedroom is on the 2nd floor next to the Game Room. There’s no door for this bedroom so that limits privacy. There’s a full bathroom on the 2nd floor next to this bedroom.

⦿ Couch: The large couch in the living room can sleep one adult.
⦿ Queen-sized air mattress (sleeps 2) if you have more guests.
No bedding is provided for these additional sleeping arrangements so please bring your own bedding.

⦿ Gorgeous artwork with farmhouse-themed kitchen, Budlight’s Spuds McKenzie themed game room, wildlife canvases, and antiques from the gold rush era. 

Note: The balcony/deck on the 2nd floor needs repair. Please do not use it. Our contractor pushed their schedule. So, we don’t advertise that deck in our listing. You may however use the bigger wrap-around deck in front of the house.

There are fees to access these amenities which are charged onsite by the community office. Also, some amenities may be limited due to weather or maintenance at the discretion of the resort office.

⦿ 20 mins to historic Murphys, CA. Murphys has a gorgeous downtown, fabulous food, vineyards, and more

⦿ less than 10 mins to White Pines Lake & the Arnold Rim Trailhead.
